Wonder is living in a place with childlike faith.

What are you believing God to do?

Children do not know limits. They believe anything is possible.

They haven’t been tainted with culture and put limitations on God.

Living in a place of wonder is having belief like you have never been disappointed.

It’s believing for healing even though you have not experienced it.

It’s believing for freedom when you are in prison.

It’s believing for provision even if you are in poverty.

It’s believing your God can do what He says He can do, and saying He is good no matter what.

This is living in the wonder of God.

When the wonder of God has been stolen from your vision of Him, it is because you have believed a lie instead of His truth.
That lie may have set root when you prayed for a loved one and the prayer wasn’t answered.

Maybe you lost a business that you felt God led you to open and now you don’t trust the voice of God as He is leading you.
It starts with a hurt, a disappointment, or unanswered prayers.

These things are going to happen, we live in a fallen world. But the wonder will be tainted with unbelief, if we dont stay connected with the Wonder maker.
We must press into His presence regardless of our present circumstances.

I always tell my children, “make a good choice right now,”…we must choose to run to Him. We must continue to walk with Him, even if we are still bleeding from our battle wounds.
He will restore His wonder in your sight. He will show you His view beyond your tainted one.
It’s a day by day choice to walk with Him.
It doesn’t happen overnight, but it does happen.

“…weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning.” Psalms 30:5 NLT

Over the next 10 days we will journey through the stories of women. Stories of pain, disappointment and hurt, that welcome the wonder of God to be reintroduced to them again. Our prayer is that you too will be reunited with the Wonder Maker, and you will one day dream again.
