Isaiah 61:10 “I delight greatly in the Lord; my soul rejoices in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of his righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.”

Isaiah 61:10 says we can rejoice in the Lord because He has clothed us in His garments of salvation.  He offers salvation to us so that we will be free from the power of sin and its bondage.

He has saved us from death and He gives us eternal life.  He did this because He loves us deeply.  We are His creation and He wants a relationship with us. Many times we feel like we have made too many mistakes for God to love us because of what we have done or haven’t done. That’s not the truth, that’s a lie from the enemy! God thinks we are beautiful.

If we have accepted Him as our Lord and Savior, we are forgiven of our sins. Once we have asked Him to forgive our sins, He forgets them. The problem is if we don’t forgive ourselves, we allow the enemy to constantly remind us of our mistakes. The voice of the enemy reminds us of how we have messed up. God’s voice says “you are forgiven, you are my child and I love you!” God is a loving Father and when He looks at us He sees us as Isaiah 61:10 describes, clothed in the richest of garments, as a bridegroom and as a bride adorned with jewels.

He sees us as His beautiful creation and wraps us in His robe of righteousness.

He gives us the strength and ability to live a righteous life. He paid the price so we can freely live.

I encourage you to rejoice in the Lord, for He loves you no matter your circumstances. See yourself the way He sees you.
